Messages are not delivered

There is no server, so a message travels only while both people have the app open. The first connection through Tor takes up to a minute; with Snowflake bridges, several minutes. On one Wi-Fi network the devices connect directly.

Tor does not connect

Open Settings → Tor bridges, tap “Built-in snowflake” or “Built-in obfs4”, save and restart the app.

I forgot the master password or the code word

Nobody can restore them, including the publisher: there are no copies anywhere. The chat has to be created again.

How to add a contact

Meet in person. One taps “My QR code”, the other taps “Add contact” and scans it. Then both enter the same code word you agreed on out loud.

How to block someone

Open the chat, tap Menu → Block contact. The app stops connecting to this contact and accepts nothing from them.
